EconoWatt Intelligence (“EconoWatt,” “we”) is a smart electricity monitoring and management service, based in Quito, Ecuador. For any matter related to this policy you can write to us at contacto@econowattintelligence.com.

a) Contact and account data. When you contact us or sign up for the service: name, business name, phone, email, installation address and billing information.

b) Energy monitoring data. The metering devices installed in your business collect technical electricity-consumption data and related parameters, associated with the monitored equipment or circuits. This data is the core of the service you contract.

c) Platform usage data. Basic technical information about your use of the portal (logins, configuration preferences) needed to operate and improve the service.

This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers for commercial purposes.

• To provide the contracted service: monitoring, alerts, reports and insights about your consumption.
• To communicate with you through the channels you provide (including WhatsApp, Telegram and email) on service matters.
• To improve the platform and develop new features, including training and improving the service's analytics and artificial intelligence models.
• To comply with legal and tax obligations.

EconoWatt may generate statistics, comparisons and analyses from aggregated and anonymized data — that is, information that does not identify your business or any individual. This aggregated data may be used for benchmarking, research and service improvement.

We do not sell or rent your personal data or your consumption data. We share data only with: (a) technology providers that make the service possible (cloud infrastructure, messaging), under confidentiality obligations; and (b) competent authorities, when a legal obligation requires it.

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We retain monitoring data for the duration of your service and for the subsequent period necessary for legal, accounting or continuity purposes if you reactivate the service. You can request the deletion of your data in accordance with section 8.

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data: encryption in transit, per-account access control and isolation of each customer's information. No system is infallible, but the security of your data is a central commitment of the service.

Under Ecuador's Ley Orgánica de Protección de Datos Personales, you have the right to access, rectify, update and delete your personal data, as well as to object to its processing and request its portability, on the terms provided by law. To exercise these rights, write to us at contacto@econowattintelligence.com. We will address your request within the legal time frames.

Our service is intended for businesses and adults. We do not deliberately collect data from minors.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the service or in regulation. We will publish the current version on this page, with its update date. Substantial changes will be communicated to active customers.
